Stress Reduction Classes

In a Yin Stress reduction course you will learn foundational practices to quieten the mind and the body, gain more clarity in what causes your stress and how you specifically react to these triggers. We will explore in a supportive and relaxing environment how to strengthen and cultivate those qualities that are needed to counterpoint our triggers.

The Yin Stress reduction course draws from different modalities: Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, Psychosynthesis and Mindfulness based stress reduction, as taught by Jon Kabatt Zinn, and are tailored specifically to the needs of each unique group. One of the goals of the six week course is to gradually introduce simple daily practices to strengthen and nourish the nervous system and create ways to absorb and meet stress in a more skillful, creative, and mindful way.

Stress Reduction courses can be held at your organization or company in the Western New York area by request
and also take place regularly at Healing Waters, 542 Quaker Road, East Aurora, NY.
